"I'm curious. Period. I find everything interesting. Real life. Fake life. Objects. Flowers. Cats. But mostly people. If you keep your eyes open and your mind open, everything can be interesting."- Agnès Varda

Ever since I was a child, I've found it hard to describe myself in concrete, definitive terms, because I had report cards to do that for me. That was, until I came across Walt Whitman's 'Song of Myself, 51' as a literature major, in which he says 'Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)' which is the closest I've arrived at understanding me and my work.

Starting out as a photographer when I was 14 and venturing into the field of film at 21, I have always found my fluidity in doing things driven by my curiosity of the ordinary and the extraordinary alike.

From urban landscapes to portraits, I have not only found the most comfort and familiarity in experimenting and learning along the way but also in the people I document; as important as the visual medium has been for me, making people feel heard and seen through their stories has been an integral part of my work.

Along with being a visual artist, I am also a cinephile and a writer who loves writing about cinema (and subjects that intrigue me), a pop-culture enthusiast and a fumbling learner
